Amanda Poses believes travel should be as seamless as it is meaningful - thoughtfully designed, deeply personal and beautifully executed.

Travel has always been more than a destination for Amanda; it has been a way to connect more deeply with people, culture, place, and family. Early travels to cities like Moscow, Milan, Paris, and London sparked a lifelong curiosity about the world and shaped the perspective she brings to every journey she designs for you.

Amanda is the founder of Poses Travel & Co., a boutique luxury travel agency specializing in highly personalized, seamless travel experiences. Recognized as a Condé Nast Top Travel Specialist and a SmartFlyer Top Producer, she collaborates with a trusted global network of hotels, hospitality partners, and vetted local experts to create journeys defined by thoughtful detail, insider access, and exceptional service.

Before entering the travel industry Amanda spent more than two decades in retail, fashion, and events, where anticipating client needs and executing complex experiences was essential. That background continues to shape her approach, combining meticulous planning with an intuitive understanding of how meaningful travel should feel.

    TRAVEL DESIGNER

    Prior to starting her career in travel, Denise worked as a client services executive in the advertising and marketing industry. Her background as a LikeToKnow.it social media influencer with a focus on fashion, food, and travel helped her to hone her taste-making sensibilities. It was a natural evolution for Denise to combine her pulse on assessing clients’ needs with her discerning sense of style when she  embarked on a career as a travel advisor.

    Denise’s personal travel ranges from beach vacays to mountain retreats. Whether she’s discovering a new-to-her destination or returning to an old favorite, there are pillars to her trips that often overlap with the itineraries she designs for clients; squeezing in physical activity, having unique dining experiences, enjoying live music, and learning about different cultures are the critical elements to a fully immersive adventure in Denise’s eyes.

    TRAVEL DESIGNER

    Garrett brings a global perspective and a refined eye for luxury travel, shaped by a lifetime of international experiences. With a Chinese mother and Greek father, he grew up immersed in two vibrant cultures that inspired a deep love for exploration from an early age. That passion evolved into a career in 2015, when he entered the world of high-end travel advising and began curating elevated, personalized journeys for his clients.

    Having lived in London while studying at the London School of Economics, Garrett took full advantage of Europe as his backyard. His travels have carried him throughout Asia, the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, and beyond, giving him firsthand insight into the world’s most exceptional destinations and properties.

    Garrett draws on strong relationships with hotels and on-the-ground teams. These relationships allow him to recommend the right properties and ensure each trip runs smoothly from start to finish.

  • JoEllen Bax

    CLIENT SERVICES & OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

    JoEllen’s passion for the travel industry grew from her experiences curating luxury destination weddings as well as her own extensive travels, both abroad and domestically, with her family and friends. JoEllen’s first career was as a financial consultant for Ernst & Young. Seeking to follow her creative and entrepreneurial desires JoEllen spent seventeen years running a successful luxury wedding and event business. We are now thrilled that JoEllen has decided to “take her talents” to Poses Travel & Company.

    JoEllen’s love for details, passion for customer service and her business acumen will make her a trusted resource for our valued clients. She believes that every event and vacation should be an intentional experience full of personal details curated to reflect each client’s specific lifestyle and personality

    Prior to joining Poses Travel & Co, Taylor spent several years as a family assistant, where she honed in on her organizational skills and attention to detail. Having worked so closely with families, Taylor understands that all families have different needs. Her ability to cater to a family's specific set of needs is something she is excited to apply to her career in travel-planning, ensuring that each trip is thoughtfully curated.

    Residing in sunny San Diego since 2018, Taylor enjoys living in a place that feels like a permanent vacation. Exploring this vibrant city over the years has fueled her passion for travel and inspired her to dive deeper into other parts of the world.
